Personally I hate this perpetual copyright bull that companies that have discontinued products for over 2 decades, still have the ability to take down redistributions of the software that has been thrown away despite continuing to not sell it. So how can piracy possibly be argued for a game that you can't even physically purchase anymore. And the Amazon sales are people reselling the game to begin with. I really don't see how this sub can even have a piracy rule when Zoo Tycoon 1 and 2 has never been available for digital download by Microsoft. In reality it promotes the game and franchise to people who would have never purchased the media to begin with and has the potential to convert them into actual fans. Piracy 'takes money' away from devs (It doesn't this is the excuse they use to argue). Honestly I would rip my CD's and provide them to the community but then I'd just get banned.
